Changing the Administrator Password 

This section describes the method for changing the administrator password. It is 

recommended that the default password is changed for increased security.

 

Set 6 to 12 digits for the password. Numbers and lower case letters can be used for the password.

 

 

1 

Confirm that [READY TO PRINT] is displayed on the machine.

 

2 

Press «

∧

» button or «

∨

» button several times to display [ADMIN SETUP].

 

3 

Press «OK» button.

 

4 

When [ENTER PASSWORD] is displayed, enter the password.

The default password is "999999."

 

5 

When the password has been entered, press «OK» button.

 

6 

Press «

∧

» button once to display [CHANGE PASSWORD].

 

7 

Press «OK» button.

 

8 

When [NEW PASSWORD] is displayed, enter the new password.

 

9 

When the confirmation screen is displayed, enter the same password.

 

10 

The password change is complete when [CHANGE PASSWORD] is displayed.

 

11 

Press «ONLINE» button to return to the [READY TO PRINT] standby status.
