  Using SNMPv   

Using an SNMP manager that supports SNMPv3 enables the management of the machine 

to be encrypted via SNMP.

 

 

1 

Open the Web page of this machine.

 

·

 

For information on starting the Web page, refer to "Starting the Web Page".

 

 

2 

Log in as the administrator.

 

3 

Select [Admin Setup].

 

4 

Select [Network] > [SNMP] > [Setup].

 

5 

Follow the on-screen instructions to configure the detailed settings.

 

6 

Click [Submit].

 

The new setting is enabled after the network function of the machine is restarted.

You can use a commercial SNMP manager tool to check and change the settings of the 

machine. For information on the MIB of the machine, access the "Software DVD-ROM" 

included with the machine, and check the MIB definition files in the [Misc] > [MIB Files] folder.
