Installing the Printer Driver to a Computer
This section uses the procedure for installing from the software DVD-ROM of the machine as an
example.
The software DVD-ROM is not included with the machine. Obtain the "Software DVD-
ROM" or the software you want to install from the provider of your machine.

Connect this machine to a computer via a network or USB cable.

Insert the "Software DVD-ROM" into the computer.

When [Auto Play] is displayed, click [Run setup.exe].

If the [User Account Control] screen is displayed, click [Yes].

Select a language from the drop-down list.

Read the license agreement, and then click [Accept].

Select [Network] or [USB] in accordance with the connection method of the
machine and computer, and then click [Next].

If the [Windows Security Alert] screen is displayed, click [Allow access].

Select the model name of the machine, and then click [Next].

Click [Install Optional Software].

Click [Complete].

Click [Next].

Click [Exit].
