Cleaning the LED Head 

Clean the LED head if white lines or black lines appear, images are faded, or the periphery of 

letters are smudged in the printouts.

 

 

·

 

Do not use solvents, such as methyl alcohol or thinners. They may damage the LED head.

 

·

 

Do not expose the image drum unit to direct sunlight or strong light (approximately 1,500 lux or 

more). When leaving the image drum unit under room lighting for five minutes or more or leaving 

the top cover open, cover it with a black cloth or paper to prevent it from being exposed to light.

Insert your finger into the recess on the top of the machine and pull up the lever.
