Connecting a USB Cable 

 

·

 

A USB cable is not included with the machine. Prepare an A-B type cable separately.

 

 

 

1 

Prepare a USB cable.

 

 

2 

Make sure that the machine and the computer are turned off.

 

3 

Insert the B end of the USB cable into the USB interface connector of the machine.

 

·

 

Do not insert the USB cable into the network interface connector. Doing so may cause a malfunction.

 

 

 

4 

Insert the A end of the USB cable into the USB interface connector of the computer.

 

·

 

For Windows, do not insert the other end of the USB cable into the computer until an 

instruction appears on the screen during the printer driver installation.
