Line tracing procedure
Select the
LOCATOR
function in MISC menu.
Connect
test cable to the instrument.
Connect
test leads to the tested object (see
figures 5.43 and 5.44
).
Press the
TEST
key.
Trace lines with receiver (in IND mode) or receiver plus its optional accessory.
After tracing is finished press the
ESC
key to stop generating test signal.
