
Installing a MACE mains powered trickle charger
In certain applications or where the use of a solar panel is impractical or undesirable, the HydroMACE XCi
device can be powered from any DC source of 16-30 Volts (2 Amps).
NOTE: When the ambient temperature is less than -10°C (14F), the battery should be
removed to avoid permanent damage to the battery.The XCi device should be
powered by an external power source
1. The charger available from MACE (Part No. 850-323) comes complete with a circular barrel connector
that plugs directly into the XCi device.
NOTE: The barrel connector for the 16-30VDC charger input is centre positive
