Edit a "Channel value range status" channel type
ON when outside range
The related " Binary status output " will be turned ON when the input channel value is greater than the
" Upper limit " or less than the " Lower limit ". The related " Binary status output " will be turned OFF if the
input channel value is greater than the " Lower limit " plus the " Hysteresis value " or less than the " Upper
limit " minus the " Hysteresis value ".
OFF when inside range
The related "
Binary status output
" will be turned ON when the input channel value is less than the "
Upper
limit
" and greater than the "
Lower limit
". The related "
Binary status output
" will be turned OFF if the
input channel value is greater than the "
Upper limit
" plus the "
Hysteresis value
" or less than the "
Lower
limit
" minus the "
Hysteresis value
".
In the example above, the "Binary status output" will be turned ON, when the "Source channel named -
Depth" has a value of between 1.0 and 0.5 metres, and OFF if the "Source channel named - Depth" has a
value of greater than 1.1 metres or less than 0.4 metres.
NOTE: A "Binary status output" must now be added and configured.
