SNMPv3 Configuration
SNMP
version
3
(SNMPv3)
is
an
extensible
SNMP
Framework
that
supplements
the
SNMPv2
Framework
by
supporting
the
following:
a
new
SNMP
message
format
security
for
messages
access
control
remote
configuration
of
SNMP
parameters

rights.
The

Access
Control
Model
defines

an
SNMP
entity.

contains

allows
you
to
configure
destination
information,
consisting
of
a
transport
domain
and

transport
address.
This
is
also
termed
as
transport

validation

incoming
requests,
and
for
selecting
community
strings
based
on
target
addresses
for
outgoing
notifications.
