free
up
buffer
space.
ifInErrors
For
packet
‐
oriented
interfaces,
the
number
of

contained
errors
preventing
them
from
being

higher

layer
protocol.
For
character
‐
oriented

fixed
‐
length
interfaces,
the

transmission

layer,
including
those

total
number
of
packets
that

protocols
requested

addressed

this
