When power failure occurs in the input power, DC link voltage of the inverter gets low and low voltage
defect occurs resulting a cut of the output. Its function is to maintain the voltage of DC link by
controlling output frequency of the inverter during the time of power failure. That is, it can keep the time
from the point of power failure to low voltage defect long.
H64 (KEB Select): Selects energy buffering operation when input power is cut. If H64 is set to 0, it
operates normal deceleration run until low voltage occurs. When H64 is set to 1, it controls the inverter
output frequency and charges the energy occurred from the motor to the inverter DC.
H 65(KEB operation start level), H 66(KEB operation stop level) : Selects starting and stopping point of
the energy buffering operation. Set the stop level(H65) higher than the start level(H 66) setting the low
voltage defect level as standard.
H 37(Load inertia) : Uses the momentum amount of the load inertia to control energy buffering
operation. If the inertia ratio is set high, the frequency change range gets small when running energy
buffering.
