Purging the Fuel Train
Purging oil gun and gas train
This function is used to discharge residual fuel from an oil gun or gas train into the flame. If
the oil gun or gas train is purged then the 2
nd
safety time (pilot valve and fuel valve open) is
increased at the next burner start sequence as the oil gun or gas train will have to be primed
again before ignition.
5.2.3.1 Requirements
The special curve point ’Purge oil gun’ must be configured.
How to set the special curve points see chapter
6.3.2 Configuring Special Points
.
5.2.3.2 Required Inputs/Outputs
For purging the oil gun, 2 additional logical input signals are required:
•
Purge valve
•
Atomiser steam valve
V1
Gas side fuel valve
M
Gas damper servomotor
V2
Burner side fuel valve
P
min
Min. gas pressure monitor
V3.1 Gas side pilot valve
V4.1 Burner side pilot valve
