Mounting Notes
•
Observe national safety regulations, as well as guidelines given in national and interna-
tional standards.
•
Safety extra low voltage (SELV) signal cables to and from the CMS must be physically
separated from line voltage/power cabling.
Frequency converter cables and switches or contactors that switch high, inductive or ca-
pacitive load are particularly relevant P.ex. spark igniter).
NOTICE
No parallel laying of control cables of solenoid valves, spark igniters, large servomotors or
similar devices.
Shielded cables from the field are connected directly, without using intermediate terminals. If
intermediate terminals are necessary, the shielding must be connected to an earth terminal
directly next to the terminal.
NOTICE
Avoid long distances without shielding!
•
Only use the actuators with integrated feedback mentioned in the operating instructions.
Other actuators may only be used after consultation with LAMTEC and a supplementary
test.
•
The connection between the actuators and the control valves must be positively connect-
ed throughout and designed for the maximum torque of the actuators.
