. A Carry Card, serial number 30000 was inserted into the original STE.
This Carry Card could be a new Fill Card, a User Card from another STE (not the original STE),
or a TPA Card. During the PREPARE REMOTE ASSOCIATION / Insert Carry Card process, the
“20000 Carry Split B” residing in the STE’s registry is moved to the Carry Card and removed
from the STE’s Crypto Card List. When the Carry Card is removed from the original STE, it
carries User Card 20000’s CIK Split B as “20000 Carry Split B”, which is now available for
transfer to the “destination STE”.
5. Eject the Carry Card and give it to the TPA of the destination STE the Carry Card along with the
associated User Card that was used to create the Carry Card.
4-2.4.2 Associate
User/Carry
Card
The TPA for a specific STE is the only person who can create an association with a Crypto Card. Follow
the procedures in Paragraph
to associate the original STE User Card with the destination STE.
Always follow the instructions provided in the STE displays.
As illustrated in
, the TPA for the destination STE is serial number 10101. As directed by
the STE during the association process, TPA Card 10101 was removed and User Card serial number
20000 (originating User Card) was inserted. Notice that the User Card (20000) has its normal CIK Split A
for the original STE and the Carry Split A needed to associate the User Card in the destination STE.
