4-5.2.1 SECURE 

APPLICATIONS (SECAPP) 

Secure Applications (SECAPP) controls Secure Data and Secure Voice, the associated Access Controls 
Lists (ACLs), and the minimum and maximum operational classification levels for each.  The default 
setting for both data and voice is enabled with no security levels set.  Each application can be 
independently configured.

The SECURE DATA APPL: (Secure Data Applications) menu (

) defines if the STE will accept 

and place secure data calls to far-end terminals with compatible security settings.  The menu is displayed 
when 

SECAPP

 is pressed in the SACS menu.  The default setting is ENABLED.
