Set ACTIVE NETWORK PORT to PSTN
The STE must have power applied but should not be connected to the PSTN service while making your
initial settings. You do not need a FORTEZZA PLUS
KRYPTON™
ENHANCED CRYPTOCARD for any
installation procedure, including placing the initial (test) call.
The telecommunications service and the parameters the STE needs to operate on your service are
established using the ACTIVE NETWORK PORT settings. See
which provides a listing of
the variables associated with the PSTN service and the factory default settings. Update the table to
reflect the correct setting for your installation.
