Checking the stop
Check the dimension X between the tube (1) and the stop (2).

, the setting is correct.

not X=11–18 mm

Reposition the needle brake (3) in longitudinal direction by one further borehole in the
hole pattern (4).
Adjusting the height of the needle brake

The height of the needle brake (1) has been correctly set when the roll (3) touches the lower
third of the tube (5) during the infeed of the rear needle yokes (4).
Visually inspect whether the roll (3) touches the lower third of the tube (5) during the infeed
of the rear needle yokes (4).

If the roll (3) touches the lower third of the tube (5) during the infeed of the rear needle
yokes (4), the setting is correct.

If the roll (3) does not touch the lower third of the tube (5) during the infeed of the rear
needle yokes (4):
Place or remove spacer washers under the stop of the clamping screw (2) until the roll
(3) touches the lower third of the tube (5) during the infeed of the rear needle yokes (4).
Set the spring (6) to the dimension X=115–120 mm.
