5.9.9 Replacing the Standby Power Supply
This section describes the instructions on how to replace the standby power supply.

Listed below are the number of people and the rough standard of work hours required for performing the
works described in this section.
Requirements
The works in this section can be performed using only the standard tools.

See " Removal Procedures (Page 5-6)" in "5.2.3 Removing/Installing the Exterior Panel and
Insertion Unit" to remove the first front panel.

Remove the electric component mount panel.

8 hex/Phillips-head screws (M4 x 8)
Loosen all screws.

Remove the snap tie (at 1 location) in the figure.
The tie does not to be cut off.

Remove the interlock relay 2.

2 screws (M4 x 6)

Unplug all the cables connected to the standby
power supply.

CN1 (JP23: cable)
•
CN2 (JP26: cable)
Caution
Be sure to turn off the power supply circuit breaker and unplug the power cable from the
equipment whenever you disassemble/assemble the equipment.
