5.2.6 Moving the Push Plate Unit
This section describes the instructions on how to move the push plate unit with the power off.
Requirements
The works in this section can be performed using only the standard tools.
If the insertion unit has not been removed:

, and remove the first font back
panel.

Move the optical unit to the second front back
side.

Turn A (drive shaft presser) in the figure to move
the push plate unit.
Relationship between the rotating direction of A in the
figure (drive shaft holder) and the movement direction
of the push plate is as shown below.
If the insertion unit has been removed:

Move the optical unit to the second front back
side.

Turn the shaft to move the push plate unit.
Relationship between the rotating direction of the shaft
and the movement direction of the push plate is as
shown below.
Caution
•
First, move the optical unit to the second front back side, then move the push plate unit.
•
When moving the push plate unit into the vicinity of the press down position, be careful so
that it will not contact the receiver.
