Channel Grouping
You can group adjacent channels together for various applications, including three-phase
measurements. Press
[Wiring]
to open the menu shown below.
Each softkey has a value of the form #P-#W-#M, where the # symbols indicate the numbers of
phases (1 or 3), wires (2, 3, or 4), and meters (1, 2, or 3). For example, 1P-2W-1M indicates the
default value of one phase, two wires, and one meter.
When you group channels, the scale and offset values at the top of the display indicate the
grouping. For example, in the image below, channels 1, 2, and 3 are in group A. Note that you
can still set scale and offset values for individual channels within a group.
From the Wiring Menu, press a softkey for a particular channel to open
the popup menu shown here. Then choose a wiring group from the list.
Note that the 3 Wire, 3 Meters and 4 Wire, 3 Meters choices are not available on
the PA2201A.
