: The search for edges starts at the top edge of the field of view.
upwards (single):

inwards (single):
The search for edges starts at the outer edge of the circle.

Pixels are used as the default preset value if you have not defined your own unit.

Distance:
Here, you can set the
spacing between the search beams.
Alignment:
Define how the search beams are to be aligned.
to the field of view:
The search beams are aligned according to the orientation of the field of view.
to the object:
The system searches for a straight (rectangular field of view) or circular (circular or
sector field of view) reference line. The search beams are aligned perpendicular to the reference
line.
Tolerance field:
Here, you have the option to configure the size of the tolerance range. The
tolerance range is the range between the set minimum and maximum values. The system will test
whether each distance located falls within or outside of this range.
It is shown as a transparent
orange area in the field of view.
Specifications for the edge search
Define the specifications for the edge search.
Min. edge length:
You must also specify whether a short, medium or long edge is to be sought.
Using User defined, you may manually enter the length of an edge (5-1000 pixels)
