2. When the Message “Add Toner.” Appears
The message “Please add toner.” appears when toner is soon running out. You can still make copies, but
the image density will become lighter and lighter. It is recommended therefore that you replace the Toner
as soon as possible. Call the
Imagistics Copier/Printer Supply Line at 1-800-462-6797 to order.
When toner has run out, the message shown below appears and you can no longer start a new copy cycle.
Replacing the Toner Bottle
Open the Toner Bottle Cover.
Gently pull out the used Bottle.
NOTE
If the Toner Bottle Cover is opened while the
Bottle is turning, the Bottle may be locked in
place. If this happens, close the Cover, wait for
the Bottle to stop, and try again.
Sharply tap the new Toner Bottle against a
desk or other hard surface four to five times.
Then turn the Toner Bottle upside down and
tap it the same way again.
Shake the new Toner Bottle well and turn it
over lengthwise five times.
NOTE
Make sure to carry out the procedure above to
agitate the toner well before installing the toner
bottle in case the toner has settled.
Replace the Toner Bottle with a new one by
following the procedure given below.
