3. Wiring
Brake release method (for specifications with brakes)
Refer to the following method to release the brake.
Brake release method

Input 24 V to the brake release (signal abbreviation: BKRLS) terminal.

Operate the teaching pendant to force the brake to release.

Frame grounding
The ELECYLINDER has a built-in controller circuit board.
The controller frame grounding line is connected to the ELECYLINDER body and through to
ground via the ELECYLINDER mounting surface.
In case it is not possible to ground at the attached face, use the grounding tapped hole
equipped on the side of the controller cover to establish grounding.
Use a tester to measure the continuity between the fixing screws and grounding surface to
check whether it is grounded or not.
