Floor
Before drilling or welding the floor of the vehicle to install a hardwood floor, metal
rails or other installations, the Body Builder should verify that the various elements
installed underneath it, such as electrical wiring, brake lines or fuel tanks, will not
be affected.
A perfect seal against water or dust leaks must be ensured, after the work has been
completed.
The floor sheet forms a unit with the supporting chassis frame and other compo
-
nents of the body shell. Modification of the floor is not permitted, as this will un
-
dermine the strength and stiffness of the vehicle.
