Lengthening the overhang (U

When measuring the total length of the rear overhang, the chassis and the body,
and any other element that extends beyond them must be taken into account.
Measurements are made from the centre of the rear axle to the rearmost point of
the vehicle.
As a general rule, allowing the final end of the body or of any other equipment to
extend more than 450 mm (U

) beyond the rear end of the chassis frame is not rec

ommended.

The maximum length of the overhang (U

hicle rear with respect to the limits of the turning diameter, according to regulations,
as well as the authorised total length of the vehicle.
