Type of connections
To dampen any oscillations of the chassis frame, the subframe must be fixed to the
chassis frame as close as possible the front axle.
The installation of the tail lift in the vehicle may be made with or without a subframe.
No subframe is used in panel vans. The holes provided for this purpose at the rear
end of the chassis frame should therefore be used.
See chapter 4.2.4 "Attachment of groups or additional equipment".

A supporting structure that allows the proper distribution of stresses must be used
to attach the tail lift. The use of at least two attachment points is recommended for
the appropriate absorption of bending moment. The factory-made fastening points
on the chassis frame provided for installing equipment in the rear overhang should
also be used.
Electrical system
When installing an electro-hydraulic tail lift, check to ensure that battery capacity
and alternator power are sufficient. If these are insufficient, an additional battery
capable of providing the system with enough energy without affecting the other
equipment installed in the basic vehicle must be installed.
