6. Select each output parameter in turn by pressing its associated
key. Adjust the parameter value using the

a Control Function is required, select the required mode by
repeatedly pressing the control mode key until the required mode
is lit . Apply the Control signal to the CTRL INPUT connector.

You may wish to set up Output Limits as described in Chapter 4

to protect the device under test .
8. Press the
key to turn off output disable mode and enable
the output (LED extinguished) .

Switch the instrument on using the line switch.
2. If neccessary, select gate mode by repeatedly pressing the standard
mode key until the GATE LED is lit .
3. Apply the external gating signal t o the EXT INPUT and select
trigger slope and level
as
required. Refer to Chapter 4

for information on the trigger controls. Triggering can also be
simulated using the
key.
4. Select the Transition mode by pressing the key with the
appropriate symbol. The parameter window will be automatically
illuminated.
5. Select each output parameter in turn by
