Install the pad retainer and caliper main slide pin
boot into the caliper bracket.
INSTALLATION
Install the caliper main slide pin into the boot on the
caliper bracket.
Connect the brake hose to the caliper with the oil
bolt and new sealing washers.
Then tighten the oil bolts to the specified torque.
Install the brake pads (page 15-17).
Fill and bleed the rear brake hydraulic system (page
15-7).
REAR BRAKE CALIPER (CBF600S/N)
REMOVAL
Drain the rear brake hydraulic system (page 15-7).
Remove the rear brake pads (page 15-17).
Remove the oil bolt, sealing washers and brake
hose eyelet joint.

Be careful not to
come the pad
spring off from the
caliper.

TORQUE: 34 N·m (3.5 kgf·m, 25 lbf·ft)
OIL BOLT
SEALING WASHERS
Avoid spilling fluid
on painted, plastic,
or rubber parts.
Place a rag over
these parts
whenever the
system is serviced.
