Transporting the instrument
•
Be sure to observe the following precautions:
•
To avoid damage to the instrument, remove the accessories and optional equipment from the
instrument. Moreover, use the original packing materials in which it was shipped, and be sure to
pack in a double carton. Damage occurring during transportation is not covered by the warranty.
•
When sending the instrument for repair, be sure to include details of the problem.
Cleaning
• To
clean the instrument, wipe it gently with a soft cloth moistened with water or mild detergent.
IMPORTANT
Never use solvents such as benzene, alcohol, acetone, ether, ketones, thinners or gasoline, as
they can deform and discolor the case.
•
Wipe the LCD display gently with a soft, drycloth.
CAUTION
Clean the vents periodically to avoid blockage. If a vents becomes clogged, the instru

ments internal cooling is impeded, and damage may result.
