Procedure
Press to toggle between AUTO and HOLD.
AUTO
: The most suitable test range is set automatically.
HOLD
: The test range is fixed, and may only be altered manually.
Use the LED lamp to the left of the key to check on a set test range.
The most suitable test range is set automatically. Useful when measuring an
unknown sample.
Measurement requires more time.
Take measurements in the same range regardless of the value of the sample.
This is useful for high-speed measurement.
Procedures
(either 1 or 2 will do)
1. Press to set HOLD mode.
2. Press or . The range select key moves up or down.
As the range changes with or , the range number appears on the
measurement display for about a half-second, then returns to measurement
mode.
