6.1 Scale Calibration

Chapter 6: General Procedures

22. After approximately 30 seconds the display changes to CAL3, and three

tones will sound.

23. Add the calibration weight to the left foot of the bed, over the load cell.

24. After approximately 30 seconds the display changes to CAL4, and four

tones will sound.

25. Remove the calibration weight

26. After approximately 30 seconds the display changes to CAL5, and five

tones will sound.

27. Add the calibration weight to the right foot of the bed, over the load cell.

28. After approximately 30 seconds the display changes to CAL6, and six

tones will sound.

29. Remove the calibration weight.

30. After approximately 30 seconds the display changes to CAL7, and seven

tones will sound.

31. Add the calibration weight to the right head of the bed over the load cell.

32. The bed will beep 1 time then display the current weight if enabled.

33. Verify the scale display matches the calibration weight.

34. PPM beds only verify that the system works.

35. Remove the calibration weight.

36. Install the covers (B) and (E) and, if applicable, shield (G).
