Overview of new and modified functions
This document provides a short overview of new and modified functions or settings
becoming available with version 1248580.1.5.x.
Data transfer via Ethernet
The option of transmitting data to a connected device has been expanded. Data transfer via Ethernet
will be available in addition to the present data transfer via RS-232. The product supports the MQTT and
REST network protocols.

Remote access
Functions for remote access to the product will be available with the introduction of the new firmware.
The flexibly designed handling allows customers to create their own commands.
There are various ways to access GAGE-CHEK 2000:
Switching functions
RS-232 serial interface
Ethernet
Expansion of position-dependent switching functions
The
dial gage
function allows you to assign outputs that generate a trigger signal when the nominal
value, warning limits, or tolerance limits are exceeded. You can assign separate outputs to each axis.
Blocking the function bar
The OEM or Setup users can block access to the function bar. Slide switches can be used to restrict
configuration, loading or saving.
