Data transfer via MQTT
Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) is an open network protocol for
machine-to-machine communication (M2M), enabling the transmission of telemetry
data in the form of messages between individual devices.
Both devices have equal rights in transmissions via MQTT. The connection is
permanent and via an intermediate module, the broker.

Data transfer via HTTP (REST)
Representational State Transfer (REST) uses HTTP as an application layer protocol.
REST focuses on machine-to-machine communication.
In transmissions via REST, the remote station triggers the data transfer. The
connection is re-established for every transmission.
A separate, existing connection is available for measured value output.
