9.3.0.1 Over-temp Fault
Over-temperature Fault occurs when the heat sink temperature exceeds 100 degrees
centigrade, closing the temperature fault switch.
The normal cause of this fault is failure of the heat sink cooling fan. The front cover
may be removed to improve air flow, if room temperatures are cooler, the flow of
cooling air from the back door fan may keep the heatsink at a temperature below the
fault point.
The fan may be changed from the front without removing the supply if a short stubby
screwdriver is used. The cabinet should be turned off and the cabinet input AC breaker
locked out to prevent injury. If you remove the supply to change the fan, check that the
rewiring is done correctly and insure the connections are tight.
NOTE:
OPENING THE TWO CIRCUIT BREAKERS ON THE FRONT OF THE
CABINET DOES NOT REMOVE AC FROM THE CABINET, OPEN WALL
BREAKER TO REMOVE AC POWER FROM THE CABINET.
