WARNING: Disconnect and lockout AC primary power prior to servicing

•
Output Fault - The output directional coupler that monitors reflected power has seen
a sudden increase in reflected power. A slow increase in reflected power will result
in VSWR foldback, which reduces forward power to limit the reflected to a set value.
•
Power Supply fault is the result of one or more 50 volt power supplies not sending an
OK signal to the slave controller
•
System faults are External, Fail-safe and a Front Panel caused by the removal of the
interconnecting cable. As an example, some of these screen illustrations include a
system fault caused by an open external interlock.

4.2.3 Auxiliary Control Panel
The operator can use the handles at each end of the control panel to pull the top of the
panel forward, it will rotate on a bottom hinge allowing access to more buttons and
indicator LEDs. These buttons and indicators are backup for the GUI interface. The
control functions are:
The top row allows independent ON - OFF control of each PA cabinet. The LED
indicator above each button indicates the state of the cabinet. Green indicates the
cabinet is powered on, red indicates a fault or interlock. No illumination indicates that
PA is off.
The RF switch area allows two RF switches to each change to one of two positions.
The Exciter switches have the same functions as the controls on the front of the exciter
switcher logic and the LEDs will display the same information.
The Power Raise and Lower buttons are used for Exciter Power control. The front control
from section 3.2.1 are hardwired to the selected exciter. These buttons are software
control inputs. In analog service the Aural buttons implement aural (sound) control.
