Replacing an XGM3/XGM3S Series Port Option Card
in a Summit X460 Series Switch
NOTE
After you replace an XGM3-2sf port option card, you must reboot the switch before the ports on the card
will become operational.
To replace an XGM3/XGM3S seriesport option card:

Attach an ESD-preventive wrist strap to your bare wrist and connect the metal end to an appropriate
ground point on the rack.

Loosen the captive retaining screws on the option card until they are completely loose (
Figure 320
).

Carefully slide the option card out of the slot (
