Communication

Network configuration
To establish the communication between a local network and the analyzer it is necessary to configure
an IP (Internet Protocol) address and a subnet mask that can be recognized by this analyzer.
For example if your PC uses the IP address 192.168.0.20 and the Subnet mask 255.255.0.0 it can
only communicate with an analyzer that uses an IP address of the shape 192.168.x.x and the mask
255.255.0.0
This screen is used to configure the IP address and Mask of the analyzer:

HostName field: name of the analyzer to be recognized on the network (can not be changed by
the user).

IP address field: enter an IP address that enables the communication between the analyzer and the
computer.

Mask field : enter a mask that enables the communication between the analyzer and the computer.

Mac address field: physical address of the analyzer named Medium Access control (can not be
changed by the user).
After any modification, go to the Validate field and switch it to ON.
