Procedure :
Carry out a flow rate test and a leak rate test after each replacement of filter ribbon. If necessary,
repeat a flow rate calibration.
1/ FLOW RATE TEST :

Remove the MP101M from its sampling line.
–
Connect a flow meter (equipped with the fitting P02-1571) on the sample inlet.

then the [Start] key. The pump -up and the flow rate measured by the analyzer is displayed on
the screen under the reference flow rate.

Press down the [Details] key and connect the reference flow meter on the retractable fitting at
sample inlet.

Check that the flow rates respectively measured by the flowmeter (« Span ») and by the
analyzer (« Measurement ») are consistent:
–
If the variance between these two measurements is lower than 1.5 L/min, carry out a flow rate
calibration (cf. paragraph 3.3.3.2).*
Remark : This test can also be carried out upstream the sampling line, with the reference flow meter
placed instead of the sampling head. In this case, two people will be necessary to carry out this test
easily.
2/ TEST FOR LEAKS :
