The instrument checks the reference gauge, then the cursor moves to « Calibration » and the
instrument starts the calibration. In the next field, the instantaneous value of counting is displayed on
the left, and the average value of counting is displayed on the right.
When the programmed measurements of calibration are finished, the analyzer asks to remove the
reference gauge : the cursor moves to the
Pull out reference gauge field which blinks. The new
calibration K factor is displayed. The user pulls out the reference gauge and validates by pressing
down the [F3] key.
Ending of Beta gauge calibration: the instrument replaces the pressure plate against the filter in order
to restart the measurements or to carry out a new calibration.
Then, the user can display the calibration report of the Beta gauge. To do that, press down the [>>]
key of the screen shown above to return to the screen giving the date of the previous calibration.
