Then the analyzer carries out the number of mass measurements programmed (10 in this screen) on
the reference gauge. When these 10 measurements are finished, the cursor moves to the « Pull out
reference gauge » position, and this message blinks : the user must remove the reference gauge and
validate the operation by pressing down the F3 key. The cursor can then move to the « End » position,
which indicates that the test is finished.
The test can be stopped at any time by pressing down the [Stop] key : in this case, the analyzer
displays the screen (3) of mass test start.
In this screen (3), press down the [<<] key to display the screen (2) and press down the [Report] key.
The next screen is displayed as shown below:
This screen displays the report of the last mass test carried out. It indicates the number of
measurement cycles done, the counting duration, the starting blank value, the average countings
obtained for the n measurements of the reference gauge, the value of the reference gauge and its
standard deviation, stated in µg/cm
2
.
By pressing down the [>] key, the user displays the screen giving details of the counting values and
the measurement obtained on the reference gauge.
