Analog output
This screen lets the user assign parameters to the analog outputs for the ESTEL board whose number
is highlighted in the « No » field. These parameters are as follows:
Concentration of analyzed gases
Auxiliary channels (multiplexer)
Analog
inputs
Analog outputs on an ESTEL board can be configured for 0–1 volt, 0–10 volts, 0–20 mA, and 4–20
mA. These four ranges correspond to the full scale of the analog output, and the units are those of the
parameters displayed in the « Signal » column. When the signal value is higher than the full scale of
the current range, the analyzer switches to the next higher range. It switches back to the lower range
when measurement again falls below 85%. When the user assigns several measurement ranges to
only one analog output, the metrological resolution can be changed as shown below. To avoid range
switching, the user must assign the same value to the four ranges of the parameter that will be sent as
analog output.

The Ax+B calibration curve is used to adjust the mV signal of the selected analog output.
The « Test » column is used to test the four analog outputs and to adjust the number of points.
For the range 1:
0 point (lower scale of output)
0 volt obtained at output.
4000 points (higher scale of output)
1 volt obtained at output.
[4000 points] key applies the full scale to all analog outputs.
