Installing Triple-Slot TPMs in the TPU

This section describes the installation of triple-slot (1:2 protection) modules,
which are accommodated in slots TPM1, TPM2, and TPM3 (slot TPM4
remains free).

Before you start:

Before installing a triple-slot TPM, remove the two module guides between
the three slots. See To remove a TPM guide (on page

2.

Make sure that all the TPMs specified for installation in the XDM-300 in
accordance with the shelf installation plan are available.
