6.3 Height setting
Rule:
With the sewing basket being lowered ( sewing start position ) the
needle thread scissors should stand
0,1 - 0,3 mm above the left
basket sole.
Setting:
–
Loosen the nut 1 and turn the threaded pin 2 according to the Rule .
6.4 Right end position
Rule (with 4mm and 6 mm covering stitch width):
With the sewing basket lowered (sewing-on position), the edge of the
lower part of the shears 5 should lie 0 - 0.3 mm from the left interior
arch edge.
Rule (with 3 mm covering stitch width):
With the sewing basket lowered (sewing-on position), there should be
a clearance of 0.5 mm between the forward edge of the shears and
the right arch edge.
Setting:

Loosen the nut 3 and turn the threaded pin 4 according to the
Rule .

Set the height of the needle thread scissors according to the
chapter 6.3 Height setting .
