2.7 Form and position of the buttonhole
NOTE
The sections 2.7.1 to 2.7.4 are interdependent. If one of the following
settings is changed, it is possibly necessary to change also other
settings of this chapter.
ATTENTION !
Danger of damaging the machine!
Ensure that the stitches are produced at a sufficient distance from the
sewing basket (outer stitches) and from the knife incision (inner
stitches).
2.7.1 Setting the lip width
Rule:
The lip width depends on the E equipment.
Setting:
–
Turn the screw 3 clockwise to increase the lip width and counter
clockwise to reduce it .
NOTE
When changing the lip width, only the left stitch of the lip is changed.
