4.2 Alignment of the sewing basket with the throat plate
Rule:
With the sewing basket being lowered, the inner window of the sewing
basket should coincide with the middle of the stitch hole.
The guide roller
8 of the cloth presser block should move in the middle
in the guide groove of the basket guiding lever 9 .
Setting:
–
Reduce the sewing basket pressure.
–
Loosen the screw 10 .
–
Lift the cloth presser block 3 by hand and shift the basket guiding
lever 9 according to the Rule .
–
Tighten the screw 10 .
–
Lower the cloth presser block 3 and check the position of the guide
roller 8 according to the Rule .
–
If required, loosen the screw 11 and shift the guide roller according
to the Rule .
–
Tighten the screw 11 .
