3.2 Needle bar height
Rule:
In the loop stroke position, the hook point should stand, when
producing the outer right stitch, just above the needle eye.
Setting:

Dismount the throat plate.

By turning the crank, move the machine to the right lip.
–
Turn the hand-wheel until the needle, when producing the right
stitch, stands in the loop stroke position.
–
Check the needle height according to the Rule and, if necessary
proceed to a correction after loosening the threaded pin 4 .
–
Tighten the threaded pin 4 .
3.3 Distance of the hook to the needle
Rule:
When starting the stitch a, the hook point in the loop stroke position
should be positioned as close as possible to the needle but without
touching it.
Setting:
–
By turning the crank and the hand wheel move the machine in the
respective position, corresponding to the
Rule .

Loosen the screws 3 .
–
Shift the hook on the hook shaft according to the Rule , without
turning the hook.
–
Tighten the screws 3 .
