2.5 Settings for the tying stitches
2.5.1 Needle standstill
Rule:
In any right needle stitch in the buttonhole (needle bar down.), the
needle bar should stand completely still during the motion of the roller
support
1, if the eccentric 4 is at its upper dead points.
Setting:

Bring the machine into the buttonhole seam area by using the hand
crank.

Loosen the screw 3 and turn the eccentric 2 according to the rule .
2.5.2. Needle zero position
Rule:
When the arm shaft turns, the needle bar should not conduct a
pendulum motion in the knotting area

Setting:
–
Move the machine by the crank into respective position.
–
Insert new needle and place a piece of paper under the sewing
basket.
