2.7.2 Setting the bartack width
Rule:
The left stitch of the bartack must produce the left stitch of the left lip
at the same level.
Setting:
–
Turn the screw 1 in compliance with the rule .

Check the setting by making a sewing test.
2.7.3 Parallelism of the knife in respect to the lip
Rule:
Align the knife so that the incision made by the knife extends parallel
to the lip.
Setting:
–
Loosen the screws 2 .
–
Displace the knife holder 3 according to the rule and tighten the
screw 2 .
