3.4 Needle guard
Rule:
When producing the stitch c, the needle guard 1 , in the loop stroke
position, should rest against the needle, but without deflecting same.
Setting:
–
By turning the crank and the hand wheel move the machine in the
respective position, corresponding to the
Rule .
–
Check the position of the needle guard in respect to the needle
according to the
Rule and correct the needle guard, if required.
3.5 Alignment of the bobbin case holder
Rule:
The holder 2 should be at the same height as the lower part of the
bobbin case 3 .
The surfaces of the backs (see arrows) of the holder 2 and the bottom
of bobbin case 3 should lie at one level.
Setting:
–
By rectifying the holders 2 by proper bending tools, correct the
height according to the Rule .

Loosen the screw 4 .

Shift the holder 2 according to the Rule and tighten the screw 4 .
ATTENTION !
Danger of damaging the machine!
Set the holder 2 so that no contact between the left bobbin case nose
and the hook back can occur.
