1.  General

The 

class 577 

is an automatic lockstitch buttonholer with lower and

upper feed.

The 

sub-class 1111

 is used for sewing buttonholes with two straight

bartacks 

in a normal sewing mode

.

In case of the normal sewing mode, the sight side of the material is
turned up, ,so that the buttonhole lip can be produced by the hook
thread.
